Random Ramblings
post Sunday, February 01, 2015 speech bubble 0 comment(s)

To be honest, I don't do personal ramblings here, those kind of things - I wrote them on my Tumblr. But hey, listen, I'm curious, I just don’t get it. I just don’t get it how can you people just randomly decides to live your whole life with some random dickhead you found across the street? How can you people easily put your trust on some random bullshits you only knew for a couple of days? How can you people open up so much with some random guys you just happen to know? How can you people do that? I’m curious, because I can’t. Teach me, teach me to be like you.

The Body Shop's Lip and Cheek Stain
post Saturday, December 28, 2013 speech bubble 0 comment(s)

Hey everyone, today I'm going to write a review about The Body Shop's Lip and Cheek Stain. I bought it about a few months ago and totally in love with it. It has two shades, one is 02 Bronze Glimmer - 8ml
Shade 58353 and this, a very natural flush of red, 01 Rose Pink - 8ml Shade 11882.

Lip and Cheek Stain (RM49)

It comes in a gloss like tune and has a sponge top applicator. It's overall a good product, however, the packaging is awful. I found that it gets really leaky around the top of the bottle which annoys me the most because I can't carry it around with me in my make up bag when it is actually not so long-lasting product. However, these issues aren't horrendous enough to push me away since I'm in love with the shade of this tint. I don't like loud make up so this is perfect for me.

Look at how natural it can be on your lip:

If you ignore the packaging, you will probably love this stain as much as I do. I don't really mind about that as long as it looks natural and beautiful on me. Apart from that, this lip stain doesn't stay long, but hey, don't worry, you can always wear a coat of lipstick on top of it so that it will stick longer on your lips!

Oh oh and for those who have sensitive lips like mine, I suggest you to wear a layer of lipcare stick first. And my favourite is Cocoa Butter Lipcare Stick (19.90). I have been wearing them for years anyway! They are so gentle on my lips.

Staying Power ♥♥♥♡♡
This stays on my lips for like 4 hours (with the lipstick on). It fades a little bit but it's okay for me because I don't really wear it for the whole day long since I have to perform prayer.

Texture & Taste ♥♥♥♥
It has a weird chemical taste though but it doesn't really matter actually. Apart from that, it's very watery. So it feels nothing on your lips when applying it. It's very comfortable for me.

Price & Quantity ♥♥♥♥
If only it doesn't leak, I'd give 5 hearts for it.

Overall
Will I re-purchase it? Yes, this is my second bottle anyway because I'm in love with how natural it can be. It suits with my average skin tone. I suggest this to everyone who just wants that natural pink/red lips and cheeks. And guess what... my mother already bought the third bottle for me!

Universiti Teknologi Petronas (Educamp 2013 - May Intake)
post Saturday, April 13, 2013 speech bubble 0 comment(s)

Assalamualaikum. So here we go... Alhamdulillah I was shortlisted among the thousand of applicants in joining the Educamp at UTP. Basically everything went so-last-minute which is ridiculous!

Actually I'm on my vacation with my sister since April 8th. This is why I said that everything went so last minute! What should I do when my documents, baju kurung and everything is in Alor Setar while I'm relaxing my ass off in Johor? Fortunately, my parents are at home! So we decided to meet at Ipoh instead. Ayah and ibu are going to the resort booked first and wait for me there. Alhamdulillah, everything went as we planned it to be. Did I mention that we stayed at the same resort as Adila's family? Yes, we even meet up outside of our room on that night.

So here it is... Registration was held at the Chancellor Hall. The queue was already long when I reached the place at about 7:00 a.m. Oh, but then I went to the second queue (No one realize it's existence though) which manage me to get into the first group, which is A. I got A76 I think? I don't remember because I already throw that card away.

This is the Chancellor Hall. I used to call it as "Dewan UFO" when I was in standard 5. Liddat tell me how cool is that building? Hahahaha no, I'm not really that amazed looking at the modern and awesome infrastructures in the campus since I used to go there... on monthly basis? Actually, my second brother is an UTP alumni, and so are his wife. That's why I have been there before. The Chancellor Hall is where my brother had his Graduation Day.

Then I headed to the auditorium to listen to the briefing and speeches. After two hours, we, Group A (and also Group B) travelled in a bus to Block B. This is where the interview session will be held. There, we were sent to the Preparation Room to prepare on the case study. I'm in the group of 4 boys anyway, yes, I'm the only girl but oh well, whatever! Our case study was about Crime Wave.

After about 30 minutes (Which is too short for me), we went to the Waiting Room. I was in Panel 9, Number 4 (This is based on my card number). The interview has two session which is individual assesment and the other one is by group. So what did the panel asked me? Aa, well...

Me: *Knock the door* Assalamualaikum.
Panel: Waalaikumussalam. So you must be Adibah Hanun right?
Me: Yes.
Panel: Okay you can seat now.
Me: Thankyou.
*Accidently kicked the panel's table* OH MY GOSH
Me: I'm so sorry *Grin*.

Panel:So Adibah, where do you live?

Me: I live in Alor Setar, Kedah.

Panel:Where did you studied at?
Me: SMK Tunku Abdul Malik.
Panel:Where is that?
Me: Hmm... At Alor Merah.
Panel:Near the Dewan !@#$%^&* (Which I don't actually remember what did he asked)
Me: Hmm sorry I don't know where's that *Laugh*.

Then he basically asked about my SPM's result, and why did I chose to study ICT instead because I got an A for my Chemistry (suprisingly). I told him that I have been into codings and all since I was in Standard 3 and he gave me that "god, this kid is freaking hilarious" look. He actually asked me where do I learn all that and I calmly answered everything, well, I even mentioned having a graphics website too. After a while, we moved on to the main topic which is about the Crime Wave. I basically know nothing at all about this crap so I basically, changed the words, and pretend like I'm freaking confident about what I'm talking about.

About the group interview... The boys in my group are extremely good. I mean, they sure have a lot of ideas while me... 'yes, here is my idea', and 'I think your idea is very good' thing all over again. We spontaneously discuss about this problem and come out with one solution which is amazingly COOL for me.

Overall, I'm not really satisfied with myself, but oh well let's just hope for the best since this is my first ever interview session and I did... quite good for a first-timer. I think? It was a great experience, really.

(EDITED@1st February 2015)
To those who concern, yes, I did passed the interview and I am currently struggling my second year here.

I Choose to Wear Hijab
post Friday, November 30, 2012 speech bubble 2 comment(s)

Assalamualaikum. Today, I'm entering a contest which is called as "I Choose to Wear Hijab" by Salwa. As you can see, this is the first contest I'm entering in my brand new blog! The rules are quite simple which is I have to bet a photo for this contest and like, follow and subscribe the sponsors.

So... here's the photo I'm betting for:

However, if jilbab is not considered as a hijab (because it's not my daily wrap anyway, I only wore them in the evening at Makkah Al-Mukarramah a few months ago. So... please don't get me wrong, it doesn't suit me... yet. Someday, Insya'Allah.), then I'm betting for this photo instead: (deleted)

I already liked, followed and subscribed the sponsors. So am I qualified now? Got to go, please pray for my luck  Thankyou. (I really do wish to win though... Insya'Allah)

(EDITED@26th December 2012)
Alhamdulillah, I won the first place in the contest. However, I didn't manage to get the prize though since I was on vacation for two weeks (and my nephew caught a cold - too).

Well, it wasn't meant for me, I think?
